The Cadillac Escalade, king of all GM vehicles. A story of the Escalade's rebirth into the world of EV. The future of Cadillac and their promise to be fully EV by 2030.

 

Cadillac needed a splashy and engaging way to reveal their new powerhouse of an EV SUV. This campaign was designed to be experiential OOH, that could stand as a center spoke for global communications. We used Times Square and the broader city of New York as placement for our OOH campaign. With one goal in mind, for Cadillac to to take over NYC for the day.

With limited time and budget the team worked quickly to develop the concept, align with senior GM leadership and begin working with a specialized OOH CGI partner BCN Visuals. We developed the "Reinventing the Wheel Concept" to show parallels between the successes of the ICE version of Escalade and the gigantic leap forward in EV technology created for the new Escalade IQ vehicle.

 

Using Unreal Engine 5 to previs the experience and plant ourselves in TS, we created a 2:00 minute long full CGI animation to tell the story of wheel reinvention leading to the birth of this new groundbreaking EV.
