Tenfern Trading Co is an NFT project started by a rag tag group of friends and family. Creative was lead by the very talented Michael Victor, an award winning photographer and DP from Sammamish WA. With the beginning of WEB3 tech and the NFT boom in 2020 we assembled a small crew of hobbyists, WEB3 enthusiast and industry professionals to bring the ideas of Michael to life. We created an immersive NFT ecosystem with room to grow for future activations, community events in the PNW and drops of exclusive NFT assets.

With creative roots firmly planted in the Pacific Northwest the design and creative for the project came from the surrounding area. From old growth forests, to raging rivers, to alpine lakes and snow capped peaks. We wanted to bring forward the old frontiersman to pay homage to their stories, lifestyle and technology. The NFT's each embody one of three main attributes, a tradesman, a craftsman or an explorer. This opens a pathway to modeling thousands of different artifacts for each art piece and the ability to attach fun storytelling, lore, mysteries and adventure for future drops and contests.

The NFT assets. Each a 3D scanned object from real life or modeled by our team of talented CGI artists. The artifacts material, lantern design and lighting are all factors that give the NFT its rareness and tradable attributes.

A hero track was created to support teasers and trailer type content for social and OLV. We planned to mint over 1000 NFTs so 20 different soundscapes were created to recycle through each NFT.

Series of social posts created to give a look into the world we wanted to create for users. Using quick storytelling, the feeling of adventure and mystery we gave a sneak peak of what the actual NFT artifacts would look.

Wallpapers, portraits, nature landscapes and more. Stills created to support social media posts and further the character development and world building of Explorers, Craftsman and Tradesman.

As a way to show users how our NFT's can be displayed in the digital realm, we created a few CGI environments fitting the look and feel of the brand to showcase our artwork. We also populated a metaverse type gallery using Oncyber to show what a full collection of artwork might look like. As a way to bring the artwork into the real world we designed an AR type poster for early collectors to enjoy.

We shot so much footage to support social assets, concepts for character development, inspiration, world building, and story, etc. Most was shot in 16x9 format with modern lenses, but a few shoots were designed around old Russian anamorphic lenses. These give the film a beautiful look and were too pretty to keep locked in the fault, screen grabs from reels above.
